Skye Trail

The Skye Trail is a self-guided long-distance route across the Isle of Skye — roughly 128 km of coastal cliffs, moorland and historic settlements, typically staged over about five demanding days in Lee’s itinerary.

Unlike many European hut trails, it is not a fully waymarked “tourist path.” Navigation, weather and wild-camping (or hostel) logistics matter as much as fitness. Expect exposed sections, changeable Atlantic weather and days that feel remote even when villages are never far on the map.
