Getting to Ben Nevis: Fort William & Glen Nevis

Ben Nevis starts at the Glen Nevis Visitor Centre near Fort William — Lochaber's outdoor hub in the Scottish Highlands. Lee drove from Inverness after the Skye Trail; trains from Glasgow work well if you don't need a car.

By bus

Citylink and local services connect Glasgow, Inverness and Fort William. Cheaper than car hire if you're not touring the Highlands.
