On Fimmvörðuháls, accommodation is one high pass hut plus trailhead options in Skógar and Þórsmörk. Book the hut before flights — summer spaces sell out fast and wild camping on the pass is not recommended.

On-trail hut (only overnight option)

Stay at Langidalur, Básar or Volcano Huts. Main bus departures near hut areas — confirm your bus stop (Básar vs Langidalur).
Finishing in Skógar
South coast guesthouses and hotels — visit Skógafoss without daytime crowds if you stay overnight.
