What HikingWithLee is (and is not)
HikingWithLee is Lee Meyeridricks — one hiker, filmmaker and writer documenting routes I've walked. It is not a guiding company, tour operator or multi-author magazine.
I do not sell guided treks, custom itineraries for a fee, or “adventure packages.” For on-trail leadership, use licensed local guides in the country you are hiking.
What I publish
- First-hand trek guides — complete guides plus food, huts, itinerary, cost and packing clusters (e.g. Tour du Mont Blanc, Alta Via 1).
- Trail films on YouTube — day-by-day diaries and longer documentaries matched to the written guides.
- Planning tools — Packing List Builder, Trek Cost Calculator, Trek Finder.
- Gear notes from kit I actually carried — see my gear and editorial policy.
Collaboration
I am open to editorial partnerships that fit how the site already works:

I do not accept pay-for-placement in “best of” lists without hands-on use, and I do not publish other people's bylines as HikingWithLee staff.
